Modern slavery statement
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
This statement sets out the steps UK Instant Services Ltd (including its trading names Instant Healthcare UK, Instant Cleaning UK and Maids2Clean) takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
Our business
We provide facilities management, cleaning and healthcare staffing services across the UK from our head office in Leicester. Many of our people work in sectors where labour exploitation is a known risk, so we take this seriously.
Our policies
- We never charge workers fees for finding them work.
- We never hold workers' passports or identity documents.
- Every worker receives a written contract and is paid directly into their own bank account.
- Right to work checks are completed for every worker before they start.
- We check that more than one worker is not being paid into the same bank account, and investigate any concerns.
Due diligence and risk
We review recruitment practices, monitor pay and working hours through our Ronove platform, and ask key suppliers about their own approach to modern slavery.
Training and reporting
Managers and recruiters are trained to recognise signs of exploitation. Anyone can report a concern to us in confidence on 0333 014 4084 or to the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700.
